Iraq, the shameful embargo...

This pictures have been taken in 1995 during one of the most shameful embargo in Irak. It is the cause of death of over a million Iraqis, specifically children. I went there as a volunteer and photographer for the French humanitarian organization EquiLibre. These photos are historical photographs that have never really caught magazines, most busy stalking celebs on beaches rather than reporting the worst injustices of our world ... We must also say that religion helps, it is very easy to overlook the evils of our little planet ... These photos could however be shown during various exhibitions in France. However, the rector of Lyon refused twice to expose them giving as pretext that the subject was" too sensitive". Vive la Liberté Vive la France!
